Finding God's grace in everyday moments
Everyday Mercies was born from a simple yet profound truth found in Lamentations 3:22-23: "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
There was a time when I looked for God mostly in the big moments. Like when a long prayer was finally answered or when something that felt uncertain suddenly became clear. And those moments matter. They are beautiful gifts.
But some seasons are quieter and heavier than that.
Moments of uncertainty begin to touch every corner of your home. Anxiety-filled conversations stretch late into the night. Responsibilities feel heavier than you expected, not just for yourself, but for the family you love. And still, in the midst of all the waiting and hoping, you show up again the next day, even when you all feel stretched thin.
It was there that I began to recognize something deeper: God is present in the everyday.
In the quiet morning before the house wakes up. In the strength to have a hard conversation with grace. In the steady faithfulness of simply continuing on.
His mercies were not rare. They were daily — even when our circumstances made them harder to recognize.
That realization changed the way I see my life. And it is the heart behind this space.
Everyday Mercies exists to help you see God at work in the everyday moments of your life. Through devotionals, Bible reading plans, faith stories, and practical resources, my hope is to encourage you to recognize His presence right where you are.
